Nominate A Volunteer

Join Washington Business Journal and nominate someone you know for a local community award.

Thank you for nominating a Washington-area company to be a local finalist for the 2013-2014 Jefferson Awards!

The Washington Business Journal is looking for for-profit companies with local headquarters or a large local presence whose charitable work is integrated into their entire corporate culture, reflects variety and creativity, and exhibits some impact or results in the local community.

Please make sure you select "COMPANY," and NOT "INDIVIDUAL," where it asks you whom you're nominating. Then, complete the corresponding form with as much specific information as possible — there's no minimum or maximum word count or length, but the more info you provide, the more the judging panel has to differentiate your work when determine our list of finalist candidates. And please consider what the company as a whole has done, not just any single individual at the top.

The deadline for the first round of 2013-2014 Jefferson Award finalist selections is Monday, January 13, 2014.

If you have any questions, contact Washington Business Journal Assistant Managing Editor Vandana Sinha at vsinha@bizjournals.com.

Good luck!
