In the first 30 years the Jefferson Awards established the nation's
premier recognition system for service to America. Now we want
to utilize the inspiration of our grassroots Jefferson Awards
winners and their stories to inspire and attract thousands of
new participants. Building on the foundation of our media partnerships,
and determined to use the power of the new technologies in communications,
we are seeking ways to strengthen the spirit of volunteerism
and service in selected demonstration communities.
