We are the country’s longest standing and most prestigious organization dedicated to activating and celebrating public service. Through our programs we train and empower individuals to serve and lead in their communities, amplifying their impact through our vast network of media partners, mentors and volunteers. Each year, we honor the most outstanding achievements in public service at the Jefferson Awards National Ceremonies. At the 2014 National Ceremony in Washington, DC we are celebrating hundreds of inspiring stories, including:
Joshua founded Joshua’s Heart at age 4 to collect and donate healthy food to those in need.
Maria started Read Indeed at age 8 and has donated over 1 million books in 5 years.
Students in Action
Benedictine Academy is a Students In Action ambassador school focused on ending human trafficking.
PNC Bank is dedicated to making neighborhoods stronger through its PNC Neighborhood Wish List program.
RTV6 identifies and celebrates public service in their local Indianapolis community.
